Aligning suppliers with your product demand is a critical competence for meeting customer commitments. Progress has been made in forecast sharing between planners and suppliers; however, most available solutions involve sharing spreadsheets via email or replacing your planning system altogether. The combination of cost, labor, errors, and lack of integration of these existing solutions continues to make the job of planning and forecasting unnecessarily difficult.

OneSCM Demand Collaborator allows planners to benefit from many of the same collaboration and integration features as their buyer counterparts do with procurement collaboration (procure-to-pay) systems...but tailored to the planning workflow. Material Requirements Planning (MRP) data flows into OneSCM, where it can be adjusted based on real-time forecast information and then shared with suppliers. Suppliers are able to commit to a plan and then auto-generate a release based on open blanket agreements. Changes to the plan are also shared in real-time to ensure that supplier commitments and the current forecast remain synchronized.
